FAQ

How should we dress for our family session?

Choose outfits you feel comfortable and confident in—neutrals, earth tones, and soft textures photograph beautifully. Avoid bold logos or super bright colors, as they can distract from your faces and connection. I’m happy to help you coordinate looks so everyone feels their best.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

We recommend booking your session within the first 2 weeks (ideally 5–14 days) after birth. During this time, your baby is usually sleepier and easier to pose, which helps us capture those peaceful, cozy photos you’ll treasure forever.

Where do sessions take place?

I’m happy to shoot wherever you feel most comfortable! Whether that’s your home, a favorite park, the beach, or any meaningful location, I’ll come to you to capture natural, relaxed moments.

Do you travel for sessions?

Yes! I’m happy to travel within 30 miles of Foley, AL at no extra charge. For locations beyond that, a travel fee will apply to cover time and expenses. Just reach out and we can chat about the details—I want to make your session easy and enjoyable!

Can we bring props or pets?

Absolutely! Props and pets are always welcome and can add a special, personal touch to your photos. Just let me know ahead of time if you plan to bring anything so I can prepare accordingly.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours before your session to avoid losing your deposit. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a future session if rescheduled within 3 months. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the session may forfeit the deposit.
If severe weather or emergencies arise, we’ll work together to find a new date that works for you.
